1-Page Summary Sheet.
On this single sheet of paper, write down four simple sections:
- My Child’s Strengths: What do they love? What are they great at? (Start here to set a positive tone).
- Current Safe Foods & Sensory Triggers: What calms them down? What sensory inputs cause distress?
- Top 2 Priorities: What are the two most important accommodations needed right now? (For example: a quiet break space or sensory tools during tests).
- Questions I Need Answered: Keep this list to three questions maximum.
When you feel your brain starting to freeze during the meeting, you don't need to recall facts from memory. Look down at your single sheet of paper and read directly from it.
