Congratulations, You're A Work in Progress

What if authenticity isn't about staying the same, but about growing honestly?

Congratulations, You're a Work in Progress is a powerful exploration of authenticity, self-awareness, and the courage to grow. Through the interconnected lives of characters navigating identity, relationships, grief, ambition, leadership, and belonging, Ayodele Alabi challenges the common belief that being true to yourself means remaining unchanged. Instead, she invites readers to see authenticity as a practice - one that requires reflection, accountability, and the willingness to evolve.

Blending compelling storytelling with profound life lessons, this book explores the fears, patterns, and assumptions that shape how we show up in the world. It asks difficult questions: What am I protecting by staying the same? Who am I becoming, and why? What would growth require of me now?

Thought-provoking, insightful, and deeply human, Congratulations, You're a Work in Progress is an invitation to embrace the beauty of becoming. Because growth is not a sign that something is wrong with you. It is evidence that you are alive, learning, and still unfolding.
