ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Patience Shimadoo Ukange is a multi-talented young lady with a wealth of experience in talent acquisition, business and leadership management. She is the founder of The Confident Woman Africa Initiative, a nonprofit 360 transformational organization that guides African girls and women through the journey of Self-Discovery, Self-Development and Self-Maximization.

As an African leader with a global mindset, she has traveled across different countries of the world exploring the many opportunities available for youth development and women's empowerment. She is a 2023 Fellow of VVV Leadership Program hosted by Vital Voices Global Partnership, Washington DC, USA, a Member of Young African Leaders Initiatives (YALI) Network; an initiative of United States Department of States, a Fellow YALI Abuja Fellowship, a member YOUNGO, a United People Global Sustainability Leader, and a Member ForbesBLK.
