12 KEYS TO INCREASE DESPERATION IN PRAYER

Jeremiah 29:13 (NKJV)

"And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."

Without desperation, your prayers may not even touch your own heart, and if they do not move your heart, they may not move the heart of God either.

Even a group of ungodly people in the Bible showed us an illustration of what desperation looks like.

Acts 23:12–13 (NKJV)

"And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. Now there were more than forty who had formed this conspiracy."

These men took an oath that they would neither eat nor drink until they had accomplished their mission. They deliberately put themselves in discomfort just to achieve their goal.

This shows an important truth: you cannot become desperate by mere decision.

You must deliberately place yourself in conditions that stir up desperation.
