Jehovah Rapha (…The God who heals)

There was an encounter in Exodus 15:22-27 where God referred to Himself as 'Jehovah Rapha,' which means 'the one who heals.' Healing is beyond the physical body; God wants man to experience healing in his spirit, soul, and body through His word.

This is because man is majorly a Spirit who has a soul and lives in a body. Nonetheless, all these three facets of a man's life that make him whole can be either unhealthy or healthy.

Sickness in the spirit occurs when a man is separated from God. When God provides healing for a man who is sick spiritually, it is to the end that he is restored into fellowship with Himself.

When God heals a man in his soul, it is geared towards making his mental state whole; and He does this through His word because the soul thrives on knowledge.

On the other hand, sickness in the physical body is majorly addressed by God's wisdom and the institution of medicine. However, where physical medicine fails, the power of God cannot fail!

He is the healing God!
