Also on Campus

A long but discretely cultivated and burgeoning romantic relationship between Lim, a university Lecturer, and a female student, Bentley, is suddenly nipped in the bud by the surprising reappearance of Lim's estranged wife. Though Lim's wife is not back in his life, her reappearance just after his confession of romantic feelings for Bentley significantly changes the trajectory of his vision. Through a skillful commingle of poetry, prose and dialogue on social media platforms and email templates within the context of contemporary reality, Veyu and Barro successfully explore the romantic essence of what it means for an exotic female student and an intelligent Lecturer to be Also on Campus. This is an exhilarating read, especially the WhatsApp messages and the spontaneous outbursts of romantic poetry in the prose emails.
