Career & Skills Pathfinder — Career Matching & Skills-Gap App (Source Code)

Career & Skills Pathfinder is a self-hosted career-matching and skills-gap app. A person says what they can already do, and the app shows which careers need those skills, how far away the rest are, and exactly what to learn to close the distance.

What it does

• Onboarding in three steps: who you are, your skills, your preferences.
• Discover: every career is scored against your skills and grouped into strong matches, good matches, worth exploring and longer paths.
• Roadmap: for one career, each requirement is marked as met, below level or missing, and core skills count double.
• Save careers. They are re-scored as your skills change.
• Learning plan (optional): with your own AI key, the real gaps become a short ordered plan. Everything else works without it.

It comes with a starter set of 80 careers and 147 skills, with search aliases.

What you get

One ZIP with the full source code (Next.js + Supabase) and a setup README. You host it, you own the data, and nothing is reported back to anyone. Instant download.
