A RUNAWAY AND CIRCUMSTANCE (DIAMOND SAGA 2)

Having betrayed her friend - Louisa, later regretting it and tried to rescue her from the fatal situation her betrayal had caused, Idy Ekwere was on the run for more or less doing what her friend had done - stealing Inoyo Udia's diamonds. In the struggle to sell off the diamonds, her cousin betrays her and she has to escape in a stranger's car. The stranger -Tom, takes her right back to where it all began while sending mixed signals her way. With her immediate past, Idy knows Tom would never settle for a bad woman like her. However, something casual while hiding out in his house could assuage her feeling of inadequacy.

Tom Uforo simply wanted his car back from his cousin - Jude, who might or might not have set him up. He would have avoided Jude if the vehicle wasn't his late dad's final gift. Yet, he ended up tangled in Jude's diamond deal gone bad with a strange woman. Tom should've been focusing on finding a document that would save his dad's company, but he was stuck protecting a woman no man would introduce to his mother, while fighting his attraction for her. Something casual was the way out, except Tom panicked when Idy became the only thing on his mind.
