I declined to call this part introduction because most people will skip it if they saw it headed that way. This is the first wrong move of most readers who go into books and miss the point totally.

Understanding the concept of love and submission as taught by the Bible is the bedrock on which to build a marriage that thrives.

Unfortunately, there is more debate about submission and the impacts of it on the woman than the conversations around the true intention of the scripture on love and submission. What this has done is to make it difficult for the woman to embrace what the Bible teaches on submission and make the man totally oblivious of what it means to love his wife right.

In this book, I take the time to travel through the concepts of love and submission as taught in scriptures and argue that gaining the right perspective on the concept of ‘Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the Church’ and ‘Wives, submit to your own husbands as unto the Lord’ will revolutionize the marriage of any couple.

It is a journey you cannot begin if you do not have an open heart that pursues greater understanding of the concept of love and submission and in particular God’s intention concerning marriage. I will therefore request that you proceed to read each chapter with a desire to interact with godly counsel and find the right understanding.
