Others come unsure, exhausted, and afraid of making a decision they can’t undo.

This 3-week divorce counseling program is designed to help couples slow down, process honestly, and make a wise, grounded decision without pressure, guilt, or chaos.

Session Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Duration: 3 weeks (1 session per week)

Investment: ₦215,000

Format: Both partners present

Approach: Christian-based, emotionally neutral, decision-support focused

THE PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAM

This is not a space to push reconciliation.

It is also not a space that rushes divorce.

It is a space to:

• Clarify what led here
• Process emotions without destroying each other
• Discern next steps with wisdom, not just pain
• Protect dignity, faith, and emotional health

WEEK 1: STABILIZATION & EMOTIONAL SAFETY

This session focuses on slowing everything down.

When couples are at the point of divorce, emotions are usually high and conversations are either explosive or shut down completely.

Focus areas:

• Creating emotional safety and respectful communication
• Allowing both partners to express their experience without interruption or blame
• Identifying the core reasons divorce is being considered
• Faith-based grounding to reduce emotional reactivity

The goal is not agreement.

The goal is clarity and calm enough to think.

WEEK 2: TRUTH, PATTERNS & DISCERNMENT

This session goes deeper.

Not just into what happened, but into why it kept happening.

Focus areas:

• Repeated patterns and unresolved wounds
• Personal responsibility on both sides
• Differentiating between fixable issues and deal-breakers
• Exploring reconciliation possibilities without pressure
• Biblical perspective on peace, wisdom, and discernment

This is often the most emotionally revealing session.

WEEK 3: DECISION SUPPORT & HEALTHY NEXT STEPS

This session helps couples move forward with intention.

Whether the decision is reconciliation, separation, or divorce, this session focuses on doing so in the healthiest way possible.

Focus areas:

• Clarifying the final decision or next steps
• Establishing emotional boundaries
• Co-parenting considerations if children are involved
• Faith-centered guidance for closure, forgiveness, and healing
• Creating a personal emotional recovery plan

The aim is not to win.

The aim is peace, dignity, and emotional health.

WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS AND IS NOT

This program IS:

• Neutral and non-judgmental
• Faith-rooted without spiritual pressure
• Focused on emotional health and wise decisions
• Confidential and professionally guided

This program IS NOT:

• A debate court
• A space for emotional abuse or manipulation
• Forced reconciliation counseling
• Legal advice
