STANDOUT magazine is a product of TEAM-BE-DIFFERENT, created to celebrate exceptional leadership in people & organizations, with special attention to service to humanity & entrepreneurship. The magazine was inspired by the need to recognize people who are going out of their way & comfort zones to make the lives of other human beings better even when it is difficult to do so.

We celebrate people whose works & inventions have contributed to making the world a better place than they met it, whether they are dead or alive. People whose ideas and inventions have changed the trend of civilization for good are the major inspirations behind the creation of this magazine.

We also recognize the need to inspire people to great personal achievements through entrepreneurship; we celebrate entrepreneurs who have created businesses that have or can help other people’s lives in different ways to encourage dreamers that their dreams are possible.

We also encourage self-discovery and development, which is the first step towards leadership of the people. We understand that without self-discovery and development, we cannot overcome the menace of bad and corrupt leaders that now plague Africa; hence this magazine prioritizes self- discovery and development as a vital part of exceptional leadership.

Not only do we focus on self-discovery and development, but we also look at other aspects of lifestyles that are worthy of emulation and encourage them with the magazine. We are not limited by tribe, race, or continent, we reach out to human beings, and that is what matters, regardless of our differences. STANDOUT magazine is for everyone.

We hope to make this magazine a bi-monthly publication. As time goes on, we might make it a monthly and possibly weekly publication but for now, looking at the resources we have available, we can only make it a bi-monthly publication and let it go at that.
