Ask yourself another question:
How much are these staff problems already costing the business?
Count the rework. The wastage. The lost customers. The missed follow-ups. The errors. And the hours you spend chasing work that should no longer require you.
If your business is already operating and staff are handling your customers, money, stock, enquiries, orders or processes, poor compliance is not merely a people problem. It is a business cost.
If you're here because you downloaded my Staff Compliance Quick Guide, welcome back.
By now, you already know my position: deducting money from an employee's salary every time they break a rule may punish them, but it doesn't necessarily correct the behaviour.
But perhaps your bigger problem is this:
You've already spoken to them. And they're still doing it.
Your staff comes late. You correct them. Things improve for a week, then it starts again.
Someone keeps making the same mistake even though you've trained them.
Your SOP exists, but the minute you're not there to supervise, everybody suddenly develops amnesia.
Now you're wondering: Do I warn them again? Issue a query? Retrain them? Put them on a performance plan? At what point do I stop correcting and start escalating?
That is why I created the Staff Compliance Digital Playbook.
A salesperson doesn't follow up an enquiry and you lose a customer you already spent money acquiring.
Someone ignores your inventory process and now you can't explain the stock discrepancy.
An employee repeatedly makes the same error and you're paying for materials, time or rework twice.
Reports aren't submitted, so you discover problems when they're already expensive.
And then there's your own time — checking, chasing, reminding and personally supervising work you employed someone else to do.
At some point, this stops being an annoying staff problem.
It becomes an operational and financial problem.
Not every staff problem requires the same response.
Sometimes they don't understand the process. Sometimes the instruction wasn't clear. Sometimes they don't have the competence. Sometimes the process itself is broken.
And sometimes they understand perfectly well, have been corrected before, and simply continue to disregard the standard.
You cannot solve all five situations with:
“I'll deduct your salary.”
The Staff Compliance Digital Playbook gives you a practical system for diagnosing what you're dealing with and deciding what should happen next.
You'll get practical frameworks and tools covering:
The objective is simple:
When something happens with your staff, you should know where to start instead of managing from frustration.
A Playbook can give you frameworks, examples and tools.
But your own situation will always have context.
You might read the section on lateness and think:
“Okay Stephanie, but mine has been late six times. I've already warned her twice and she's actually very good at her job. What do I do now?”
A PDF can't ask you follow-up questions.
I can.
That's why your Early Bird purchase also gives you complimentary access to:
On Sunday, 27 September 2026, from 7:30 PM–10:30 PM, business owners will bring their real staff-management situations into the room.
We'll work through selected cases live: what happened, what's actually wrong, what management has already done, what should happen next, what should be documented and what happens if the behaviour continues.
And you'll hear what other founders are dealing with too.
Someone else's question may expose a problem you haven't even recognised in your own business yet.
A standalone ticket to The Hot Seat is ₦35,000.
So you're not simply buying something to read.
You get the system to keep — and the room where we apply it to real business situations.
