ABOUT THE BOOK
Rike and Bode were schoolmates at both their secondary and university colleges. The two became easily acquaintances when Bimpe introduced her friend Rike to Bode.
Rike was the only daughter of her parents. She was pampered and spoiled growing up by her rich parents, however, despite the luxurious family lifestyle, she still maintained her chastity as a Christian girl. Her resolve to live an upright and decent life on campus was a daunting and challenging one.
Rike soon found herself entangled with the complexities of campus life. She was lied against, traumatized, and abandoned by friends, coursemates, and members of her fellowship on campus. Alas, the incident led her to be vulnerable, and she eventually fell for what she feared the most.
Her father, Pastor Kowe was also disappointed in his beloved daughter when Rike became pregnant in her final year at the University. In his anger, Pastor Kowe sent Rike abroad to protect his pastoral duty against public shame and reproach. Unfortunately, Rike ended up in the hands of a daredevil human trafficking syndicate overseas.
For Rike, no matter how the road ahead of her is, her belief in her God remains unshaken. But will God give her a second chance?
