As a young, vibrant lady who had finished secondary school, taken JAMB, and was waiting to begin university life, there was one unasked question that kept ringing in my heart: Why am I on this earth? I mean, what is the purpose of my life? What should I be doing with my life?
In 2022, driven by these questions and the level of understanding I had at the time, I started writing a book on purpose. And guess what? I actually finished writing it.
Excited but unsure, I sent it to someone to read and give me feedback.
Well... I got feedback. The kind that pulls you into a corner and makes you feel like everything you've done is a mess. And that’s exactly how I felt discouraged. I abandoned the book and lost all motivation to refine or publish it.
But then, last year, I stumbled across the manuscript again. This time, with a different heart and a fresher perspective, I started refining it.
Today, I read through the book once more. And although it’s still not “perfect,” I’ve come to a beautiful realization: it doesn’t have to be perfect to be inspiring. Even without personal experiences shared, the wisdom in it still speaks.
