Learn how to make vlogs people actually want to watch

You don't need an extraordinary life, an expensive camera, or a huge following to start making good vlogs.

The Vlogging Course teaches you how to find stories in your everyday life, shoot them, edit them and turn them into videos people actually want to watch — giving you a better foundation for growing an audience through vlogging.

What you'll learn

Over six weeks, you'll learn:

Foundations — what makes a vlog work
Pre-Vlog — how to find and plan stories before you start filming
Shooting — how to capture the footage you actually need
Editing — how to turn your footage into a coherent, engaging story
Voiceover — how to use your voice to add context and personality
Posting & Growth — how to publish your vlogs and learn from your results

How the course works

This is a six-week cohort. Each week, you'll receive a new module to learn and practise.

Then, we'll have a one-hour live Q&A with me, focused on that week's module. You can ask questions, get clarification, and work through whatever you're struggling with.

So you're not just watching a course and figuring everything out alone.

Learn → practise → ask questions → improve.

You'll get

6 course modules released over 6 weeks
6 one-hour live Q&A sessions with me
Practical lessons on storytelling, shooting, editing and posting
Exercises and resources to help you practise
Lifetime access to the recorded course lessons

Who is this for?

This course is for you if you've ever thought:

“I want to vlog, but I don't know what to film.”

“My life isn't interesting enough to vlog.”

“I have footage, but I don't know how to make it interesting.”

“I want to make better videos, but I don't know where to start.”

You don't need previous vlogging or filmmaking experience, and you can start with the phone you already have.

About your instructor

You probably know me as Gillian Baci. My name is Gilbert Bassey.

I've made vlogs that have collectively been watched more than 40 million times, and I was named Vlogger of the Year at the 2024 Social Media Awards.

I'm also an author and filmmaker. My first novel, A Decent Man, has a 4.29/5 rating on Goodreads, and my short film Ananze and the Zipman is streaming on Amazon Prime.

I've put what I've learned about vlogging and storytelling into this course so you can learn the process without having to figure everything out yourself.
