When a child is born, they do not arrive with knowledge of the world. They do not understand right from wrong, love from hate, truth from lies. They are like fresh clay in the hands of a potter — ready to be shaped.

Parents, before a child ever steps into a school, before they meet a teacher, before they read their first book — they enter a classroom called home. And in that classroom, God has already appointed teachers called parents.

Home is the first classroom. Parents are the first teachers. Character is the lesson that lasts a lifetime.

Children are like blank paper ready to accept ink, but the ink drops on the blank paper matter.

Before society speaks to them, home speaks.

Before friends influence them, home influences them.

Before teachers instruct them, parents instruct them.

The very first environment a child experiences is not the classroom at school — it is the atmosphere of their home.
