Jesus is the Christ

Prophecy upon prophecy... predictions upon predictions... Numerous "Thus says the Lord" have been spoken by several prophets especially in the Old Testament, where the phrase appears approximately 400 times. Prophecy is a great way God uses to communicate his will, purpose, plans to his people. It is also used by God to reveal himself to his people. The Old Testament prophecies were mostly foretelling what God was going to do in those days in Israel or in other nations, but also in the future, all over the world. Although the prophets who gave those prophecies are all dead and their original hearers dead too, the Spirit who inspired those prophecies lives on. The Spirit of God is eternal and ageless. Although the vessels are no more in the picture, their words being inspired by God's Spirit are immortal, irrefutable and infallible.

In this month's release of Believers Manna Monthly, we shall be discussing what it means to say Jesus is the Christ; we shall consider the significance of this truth to our faith and how we fit into the whole redemptive plan of God through the work of the Christ.
