After my life was turned around by a devastating heartbreak, I found there were a plethora of options for restoring harmony to my personality. I'm telling you, I was a complete emotional wreck before that heartbreak. I was born with the virtues of a good girl etched into my DNA.


At the age of 25, I came to the realization that being a decent lady had nothing to do with morals, generosity, or respect.


Adesuwa Etomi-Wellington, for example, had an article written about her. According to the report, she's a pleasant, friendly woman who takes her faith seriously. People know exactly what she will and will not tolerate from the moment they meet her. To make matters worse, she's someone you don't want to mess with.


She set her standards and has created a good name for herself, starting by building relationships, family, faith, and career. 


Good girls care more about the sentiments of others than they do about their own. And this means that she is more concerned about giving people the benefit of the doubt than she is about relying on her own judgments.


It is said that a good girl is someone who is considerate and empathetic; she is also likable, delightful, and awe-inspiring. These words describe a person who is good to the point of being a martyr.


Many decent females, in fact, have a stake in how they're seen in all three of these categories. But when I think of the term pleasant, I also think of words like docile, passive, wishy-washy, and phony. Nice and compliant: Girls do what they're ordered to do. Despite that, not being a good girl means being stubborn, but it is the ability to stand firm.
