DUCT: Detective Eddy Mendie is in-charge of the recent and rampant kidnappings' cases at the Police HQ. Despite being put down at every turn by her male colleagues, just because she was quite a striking woman, she manages to root out one of the kidnappers. But then she falls in love with him. To prove herself, she does her job despite her emotions. Then her brother gets kidnapped. Eddy finds she's in a dilemma, but there's no confusion when it comes to her only brother. She must get him out no matter the price, even if it meant working with a criminal.

This is the first instalment of the Duct series.

But there's a new enemy in town with his own agenda and he ends up working with King Edem, who's incarcerated for life, to exact vengeance on Morgan and Alero, using their children. The kidnap attempt goes bad and all pupils of Ahead Nursery and Primary School are locked in with the kidnappers. The women can't reach their husbands, so they take laws into their hands and do everything possible to rescue their children...and their husbands. Cecil Ebe returns to Retired DSS Director of Security, Usen Ebong, after rejecting his proposal years ago and Richard is head over heels in love with Stacey.

It is a romance fest!
