Attachment-Based Therapy: Assessment, Intervention, and Evidence-Informed Treatment Planning

This 4-week hybrid course provides a comprehensive exploration of Attachment-Based Therapy (ABT), focusing on understanding and addressing relational patterns that originate from early attachment experiences. Participants will gain knowledge of attachment theory, the impact of attachment styles across the lifespan, and strategies for assessment, intervention, and treatment planning.

The course integrates theoretical frameworks, neurodevelopmental perspectives, and clinical applications to help clinicians understand how disrupted or insecure attachment can influence emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, and mental health outcomes. Participants will learn to conduct attachment-informed assessments, identify maladaptive relational patterns, and implement evidence-informed interventions that strengthen secure attachment, resilience, and emotional well-being.

The hybrid format combines live interactive sessions, recorded lectures, case consultations, applied exercises, and reflective assignments. Emphasis is placed on developing therapeutic alliances, addressing relational ruptures, and integrating culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and ethical practices.
