STAY HEALTHY

What do you think life is? Is there anything called life? Why are we living? Is this the best we can be? In this part of the world in which the order of life is a cycle, a cycle this teaches people to train their children to go to nursery school, primary school, to secondary school and then to the higher institution. After going to school we stay and work for few years and then get married and have babies. Then we continue the cycle by training our children to do the same. We train our children to do what most of our fathers did that did not work for them.

Many of our fathers lived like this, many of our grand fathers lived like this, our great grand fathers lived like this, and some are living like this and are ready to sell the cycle to their children to continue to live like this. Is this what life is all about? Is this the reason we were born? Could this be the ultimate reason for our existence? Someone called this a rat race, a journey leading to nowhere. The truth is that if you don’t know where you are going, every road will lead to the place. Asking yourself these questions will help you. Who am I? Why am I like this? Where am I going in life? What do I want for my life? What is my assignment on the earth?

Michaels, the author of ‘Good Wealth for Great Wealth’, in his words health is the ability to look, feel and do our best at all times’. She therefore recommended a regular diet of fresh fruits, vegetables, and fresh fish (such as wild salmon) for improved health. Reduction of fat, salt and sugar intake is important in order to stay healthy. Also, the importance of drinking water everyday cannot be over emphasized. It is what carries the food and waste materials and makes all digestive processes possible. It also bathes your cells so as to keep them in living.

Drinking 8- 10 glasses of water daily helps us in staying healthy. Research has shown that one glass of water shuts down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100 percent of the dieters studied in a university project.

Lack of water is the No 1 trigger of daytime fatigue. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water daily could significantly ease back and joint pains for up to 80 percent of sufferers.

A mere 2percent drop in water can trigger fuzzy short–term memory, trouble with basic mathematics, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen.

Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45percent and it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79 percent and one is 50 percent less likely to develop bladder cancer.
