Age and the experiential reality of growing old in an age-sensitive society, feminism, mentorship, friendship, sexism, sacrifice, marriage, heartbreak, romance, the unavoidable highs and lows of life, devotion and unrequitedness, purpose and its hard price, denial, desire, and a questioning of the awful need for people to silence others in their times of suffering and reasoning.
