About the book
Even though the author is not new to writing, this book is the first of her officially published literary works.
It treats the topics of manipulation, gaslighting, deception, and mental, emotional and financial abuse in a romantic relationship.
In these pages, she recounts the harrowing experience of going through an abusive relationship; falling in love with and being at the mercy of a man she thought she would spend the rest of her life with.
She goes into great detail about the mental struggles she experienced while finding her way out of that darkness.
Her choice to no longer be a silent victim is what birthed this poignant masterpiece that carries the reader into the heart of each scene with her.
Her story is one of boldness and courage.
She hopes that through it, others will learn, find healing, peace of mind and the confirmation they need to stand up for themselves too.
