Free KDP Pre-Publish Checklist: Reality Check + 45 Tick-Boxes

About to publish on Amazon KDP? Check this first.

Not every post about KDP tells you about the steps, the rules

and the risks. This free checklist does.

Inside:

✓ A reality check on quick-money claims

✓ A simple maths box to see what you could really earn per

sale

✓ 45 tick-boxes: account and money, manuscript and cover,

details, rights and AI, pricing and KDP Select, submit and go

live

✓ An "if something goes wrong" table

✓ Red flags and scams to avoid

✓ A readiness score

Made from my own first KDP publish, including a missing

table of contents warning, a rejected cover file, the tax

interview and a KDP Select conflict.

You receive a 10-page PDF, built to read comfortably on your

phone. Edition 2.0, updated October 2026.

Great for first-time authors and digital creators, especially in

Nigeria and across Africa.

Free. No income is promised. Independent resource, not

affiliated with Amazon. KDP rules change, so trust your own
