Why?

Why is Africa the only continent where the native people relate to their indigenous deities as evil?

Why do we see crop and tube tops on traditional women in the naira note - but we are told showing skin is "not in our culture"?

Why do many Africans find the very sight of pre-colonial art scary?

In this collection of thoughts, I try to lay a foundation to help the reader understand the colonial condition and how it is propagated in society today.

The subject of decolonization and restitution is a conversation that will probably outlive us all, but we must contribute to it and this is my token.

I have made this piece of writing free to read because I honestly just want people to be aware of these ideas. The world is a global stage and we must know who we are to know how to play.
