We built BELWET because too many people were suffering in silence, misdiagnosed, dismissed, or handed cookie-cutter treatments that didn't understand their lived experience nor culture. We knew there was a better, empathetic, professional, afrocentric and ethical way to heal.

BELWET Mind Clinic is a hybrid psychological and psychiatric organisation built on one conviction: that every person regardless of where they live, what religion they hold, or what culture shaped them deserves world-class mental health care.
