Expressing the Worth of His Worship

When we consider that account of Abraham, we realize God didn't ask Abraham to give whatever he wanted; God was specific on what He wanted and where He wanted it delivered to Him. True worship is all about Him! It's not a time to tell God what we want; it's a time to get the details of what He wants and respond appropriately. As we desire to grow in God and have deeper experiences with Him, the pendulum tilts away from self-satisfaction to giving God FULL pleasure and complete satisfaction in the best way we can.

Worship, therefore, ceases to be about what we want to give; it's all about what God desires to take from you and me! If truly it is worship, the thought should be: 'LORD, what do You want from me today?' Friends, this clearly suggests that therecan be no true worship without real giving!

God's ultimate desire is that our lives should be lived as a worship to Him; in total obedience continuous reverence and absolute sacrifice. In this resource, you will realize that worship goes beyond music or enjoyment, and it is far beyond the singing. It is all about obedience and sacrifice.

About the Author
