About the course creator: Linda Bembatoum

Linda Bembatoum has 18 years’ work experience in the Non-profit and Social Entrepreneurship spaces and currently works as a freelance Sustainable Development & NGO Management Consultant under her own consulting platform, Third Sector Development Solutions. The consultancy provides technical support services to NGOs, Social Enterprises and Social Impact projects.

Technical support is provided in 3 ways:

1) Capacity building (i.e. Training workshops on Grant writing, Strategic Planning, and NGO Board Selection &

Management), 2) Business model advisory services 3) Donor/Grant funding research/Partnership linking.

Linda is an experienced grant writer. Her grant writing journey began in 2010 and she continued drafting grant proposal applications for clients, for 10 years after that. She now shares her knowledge (through in-person training workshops and her digital microlearning lessons) with individuals and organizations across all sectors and provides review/editing services for a select group of clients.

Linda has a BA in International Studies with a minor in French from American University, Washington DC and a

Masters in International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), University

of London.

She is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management

Consultants (FIMC)
