21 LAWS OF MONEY: THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR FINANCIAL DESTINY
INTRODUCTION
Why is the subject of money so important to human beings? It can be argued that more than 50% of the people around the world are motivated by money. Some even become so desperate for money that they steal, rob, maim, kidnap, and kill fellow human beings to get money. Some sell fake products while some impersonate. Some forge people’s signature to swindle money from bank accounts that is not theirs. Some women express their desperation for money via prostitution. People do all sorts of unimaginable things in desperation for money.
Truly, as the scriptures have said, ‘the love of money is the root of all evil’. That is on the negative side. In 21 Laws of Money another dimension, some people who are driven by the need for money do engage in legitimate activities that could draw money into their account. Though these activities are legitimate, yet, in the long run, they often end up drowning the people involved in the quest for money. This is because many of these ‘money-generating’ activities are great stressors. Some hardly sleep well for many days in their search for money, or more money. This results in stress and other related psychosomatic illnesses that shorten the human life span. Consequently, whether legitimate or illegitimate, it appears the love of money is truly the root cause of all evil.What then is the solution? Is money evil in itself? The answer is ‘no!’ Money is necessary and is indeed good. For instance, the scripture says, ‘Silver and gold [which represents money] is mine.’ In another chapter, the scripture says, ‘money answers all things’; another-‘My city through prosperity shall be spread abroad’. The bible also tells us that Abraham, the friend of God, was very rich; so was Job. From these scriptural truths, it is apparent that money in itself is not evil.What then is the solution? Understand that though money is important, you should not be a slave to it. You should not be desperate for money to the point that you are ready to break God’s commandments to get it or destroy fellow human beings or even yourself for it. Money is not worth such drives, whether by legitimate or illegitimate means. What shall it profit you if you gain the whole world and you end up losing your soul? God forbid! The bottom line is, it is not a display of wisdom to be a slave to money. When you are working solely for money, then you have become a slave to it. Rather, work to be a blessing to people for the advancement of the Kingdom of God on earth. Let this be the primary motive for generating money, so you escape the evil vices of money. That is why the wisdom of God says you cannot serve two masters – Money [mammon] and God.Even while seeking to generate money for the advancement of the Kingdom of God, understand that God is more than sufficient to fund whatever He commissions. The whole earth is His and the fullness thereof. He has ample provision for any assignment He gives us, but we can only access it by faith. This understanding is vital.
Many Christians, out of the lack of understanding of these truths, slip back into the world’s method of getting money and end up drowning in sorrow and perdition with the world. This will not be your portion! By reading this material and diligently following the instructions, I see you escaping the travails of money.As believers in Christ, we are already blessed with all spiritual blessings. God has given to us everything that pertains to life and godliness [2 Peter 1:3]. All things are yours. Believe these truths. Understand the laws of money as revealed by the Holy Ghost in this book, diligently apply them, so you become a master of money and not the other way round. Please know this: the ‘mother’ of all laws is ‘spiritual laws’. I will only emphasize two core spiritual laws
in this introductory section: the law of LOVE, and the law of TITHING. Let godly love be the core guiding principle in all your business endeavours. Love God above all things and love your fellow men as you love yourself. Love will never do evil to his neighbour. In the same spirit of your love for God, make it a policy to always give 10% of all your profits and income to support the advancement of God’s Kingdom and agenda on earth. Pay your tithe first and do it in faith.In this book, 21 vital ‘physical’ laws of money are shared although there are more. However, I am positive that the application of any of these 21 laws of money, if combined with the core spiritual law of godly love and tithing, will make you rich and wealthy. It will further grant you access to eternal life and peace with God.
