In my early days of applying, I faced the same challenge many students do. When the application opened, I realized I hadn’t properly tracked anything not my leadership roles, not my community work, not even the small wins that mattered. I had done the work, but I couldn’t prove it.
And I’ve watched too many of my mentees repeat the same pattern trying to remember everything they’ve done over the years, scrambling to write strong essays, or reaching out to recommenders long after leaving school with nothing to guide them.
