God Is Talking — Are You Listening?”
God is not silent. The real issue is not God’s willingness to speak, but our readiness to listen.
Many people want loud signs, dramatic voices, and big miracles, but God often speaks in simple, quiet, and spiritual ways that require attention and sensitivity.
How God speaks:
Through His Word (the Bible)
The primary way God talks. If you ignore Scripture, you’ll miss His voice.
Through the Holy Spirit inside you
Gentle nudges, convictions, inner peace, or checks in your spirit.
Through thoughts He inspires
Ideas aligned with His Word, wisdom beyond your natural thinking.
Through circumstances
Open doors, closed doors, delays, or divine connections.
Through people
Pastors, mentors, friends, or even strangers God uses to confirm a message.
Why people don’t hear God:
Too much noise (distractions, social media, busyness)
A hardened or disobedient heart
Wanting God to say what they like instead of what is right
Ignoring the last instruction He already gave
How to listen better:
Spend time in prayer and quietness
Stay in the Word
Obey quickly when He speaks
Remove distractions
Ask God for a sensitive heart
The truth:
God speaks often — but only listeners receive direction.
