The heartbreaking wails of the villagers filled the atmosphere, as they mourned the imminent loss of their loved ones. Yes, another set of children have been KIDNAPPED by terrorists!

Everywhere you turn in the recent past, you hear the sad tales of a missing person. More heart-rending is the case of a missing child.

This book is borne from the need to stop the menace caused by the abduction of little children.

Abduction is evil and must be stopped. Sometimes it is borne from the need to score political points, other times it is because of religious wars, or even the crazy idea of ritual killings prevalent in our society.

It is an inhumane act that is shrouded by cowardice. Abductors and the people who engage in human trafficking of any sort, are undoubtedly weaklings.

In 2018, a young girl named Leah Sharibu made global headlines. She was abducted alongside 109 female students from Dapchi, four years after the world frowned at the 2014 kidnap of high school students from Chibok in Northern Nigeria. These girls were between the ages of twelve and seventeen years and were abducted by Boko Haram. Their abduction sparked an international outcry and the #BringBackOurGirls campaign for their release. While others were released, Leah was not, because of her firm belief in Christ Jesus.

This is one of the many cases of abduction all over the world. I hope that this book will spur us as parents and leaders to raise up a generation of individuals who will fearlessly take a stand for truth, even when physically subdued.
