2025 Climate Guide for Farmers in Nigeria

Understanding climate is important for every farmer. To support this, we are pleased to present the 2025 Climate Guide for Farmers, a comprehensive state-by-state summary of the Seasonal Climate Prediction (SCP) issued by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet).

Given the technical depth of the SCP, many farmers may find the full document difficult to interpret. To bridge this gap, we have collaborated with young changemakers across Nigeria to simplify and summarize the seasonal climate predictions for each state. This initiative aims to provide farmers with accessible and actionable climate information, enabling them to make informed decisions and optimize their agricultural activities.
