BETRAYED BY A KISS

To those who have cried in private because they

could not explain the pain.

 To those who have asked, "How could someone I trusted do this to me?"

 To those who are still carrying wounds nobody can see.

May you discover that betrayal can wound you,

but it does not have to define you.

 May you discover that people can abandon you without God abandoning you. 

May you discover that what others meant for evil, God can still turn for good. And may you discover that there is life after the sting of a traitor.
