In the course of prosecuting crimes in Nigeria - the giant of Africa - the author was confronted with bizarre crimes that are not heard of in other climes, like that of a young man raping his mother because a witch doctor had divined that sleeping with his mother was the only solution to his economic woes, and the case of a father killing his own son over a cup of rice.
