THE POET

The Poet is my debut poetry collection and the 3rd and final book of the Damiism series. Featuring 35 poems of various lengths and styles written and collected over a 13 year period, with an emphasis on romance, self identity, and human relationships.

'The Poet' also contains five bonus essays: on protest, on moments, on privilege, on boxing, and on Brighton.

How is the pilgrims process seaprate and distinct from the artistic process? Ha. We need not Camus centred self exploration here, merely a connection to our own pulsating need to CREATE. Books will be written. 

Indefatigably, sun shines, and we hear the questions rise like the gallop of a sacred horse. The sons shine, and questions are answered. Yah. 47. Ayin. Always makes it in there, with all the atavistic stuff. Our souls are eternal. 

They struggled as they were funnelled into perishable items. If cages were unbreakable, were they also unguildable????
