Run elections your members will trust.
Every association, professional body, union, cooperative and party runs elections. Members expect them to be fair, and increasingly they are run on digital platforms. When something goes wrong, whether a platform outage, a disputed voters' register or an unexplained delay, trust collapses quickly, and disputes follow.
The Governance Training Curriculum is a structured training programme for running internal elections that members will trust. It covers the full cycle: setting the rules, building and verifying the register, appointing an independent electoral committee, selecting and testing a voting platform, maintaining audit logs, declaring results, and handling complaints.
It applies the lessons of Weaponising Elections to organisations of every size. The principles that make a national election verifiable apply equally to an internal vote: records that can be checked independently, clear rules for what happens when something fails, and oversight from outside the people running the process.
The curriculum is organised into sessions with learning objectives, discussion prompts and practical exercises, so your own trainers can deliver it to committee members, secretariat staff and candidates. It suits professional bodies, trade unions, alumni and student associations, cooperatives and party organs.
Check your own constitution and the law that governs your organisation before adopting any procedure.
