Smart Brain is a six-week learning mentorship programme designed to help children become more effective, independent learners by teaching them how to make better use of their brain.

Not by giving them more schoolwork.

Not by asking them to spend more hours studying.

But by teaching them how to learn.

Over six weeks, your child will learn to:

UNDERSTAND what they are being taught.

REMEMBER what they learn.

RECALL it when they need it.

THINK through unfamiliar problems.

APPLY what they know to new situations.

And importantly, they won’t learn these skills in isolation.

We will work with their actual schoolwork and scheme of work, using what they are currently learning as the training ground.

They will learn how to look at a topic, break it down, identify what it requires, choose the right learning approach, practise it, test their understanding and apply what they know.

Because we don’t just want children who can answer the questions they’ve seen before.

We want children who can think when the question changes.

And we don’t want Smart Brain to produce children who are dependent on teachers, tutors or parents forever.

We want to raise children who can eventually sit down with something they don’t understand and know what to do.
