The Role Model Teenager is the outcome of a spirited effort by the author to catch teens young and school them to become responsible leaders not only among their peers but also in the society at large. Specifically addressing the various character traits and weaknesses prevalent in today's youths particularly in our local communities, the book presents itself as a manual that catalogues a professional step-by-step guideline to correcting the undesirable traits and temperaments in today's youths, and imbibing the right values in these leaders of tomorrow's world.

Emphasis is placed on the subject of values. Dwelling at some length on African Values in particular, the book describes what values are, discusses which values the teenage leader ought to strive towards, and reveals how these can be attained even up to the global level. With tables and charts, instructions and exhortations, the author delivers a well-defined model of the teenage leader and what his or her aspirations ought to be.

Noteworthy is the author's neutral stand on the matters of creed, race and gender. The world needs true leaders, and these can emerge early among the youth, irrespective of their locality, color, sex, race or creed.
