Jesus Christ: the Good Shepherd

We have seen and known Jesus Christ as Lord of lords, King of kings, the eternal ruler of the universe and the Judge of all creation. In addition to those, the Holy Bible also describes Him as “the good shepherd”. But what does this really mean? Is it possible that a God who is greatly feared and hallowed: One who demons tremble at His voice; who stretched the heavens like a curtain and makes His tent of them; who measures out the mountains on a scale; who hold the oceans in His hands; who decides the entire course of the universe and reign supreme over all eternity – is a SHEPHERD?
