I Dare to Dream the African Dream By Gotname B. Ibrahim

The anthology presents Gotname’s vision forthe desirable Africa. 

Through well cra[ed poesy, the poetess envisions a progressive 

Africa emerging out of enduring love, perseverance and 

communalism. The thrust of the collecঞon is to poeঞze the 

possibility of Africa and Nigeria becoming great through hard 

work, sincerity, gallantry, loyalty and genuine faith capable of

enabling gender equality, creed reverence, sane poliঞcs and 

above all, peaceful coexistence.

Gotname’s collecঞ on challenges the African youths to 

rededicate themselves to the unavoidable task of personal and 

naঞonal development, the only cure for the persistent ogre of

poverty and lack crippling the land. No doubt, this work is 

masterly and quite commendable.
