"ANTIDOTE" SUCCESS GUIDE TO FOOD, NUTRITION & HEALTH FOR ITVEE.

This book is designed to provide a comprehensive text and guide to Home Economics students 

of Technical education. It is the very first book of its kind, thus a “Pace Setter”, providing 

learners with standard GCE questions, proposed answers and guides to the examination. It covers 

all materials on papers 1 and 2 of the examination.  

The book is divided into 3 sections; the first section gives an overview of the examination 

structure, the prerequisites for a pass, the grading system and an explanatory note detailing a 

glossary of examination terms alongside what is required of the learners. The second part covers 

paper 1 questions from the GCE Board and the South West Regional Pedagogic Inspectorate 

(Mock) from the year 2020-2021 with bonus GCE sample questions issued in 2020 (JUNE 

XXXX). Part 3 contains paper 2 questions from the year 2020-2021 with bonus GCE sample 

questions issued in 2020 (JUNE XXXX). All these questions are accompanied with proposed 

answers to guide the leaners and boost performance.  

This book is intended to act as a valuable resource to learners and teachers by providing  

a concise set of answers which adhere closely to the current revised syllabus for Home 

Economics from the Ministry of Secondary Education.  

While the proposed answers in this book are not intended as the standard and the only right 

answers or approach, it is thought that the order, content and approach presented here are the best 

possible answers and approaches towards tackling these questions.
