CIVILIZATION OR BARBARISM

Cheikh Ama Diop is considered to be one of the greatest scholars to in the African world in the twentieth century. He was born in Diourbel, Senegal, a town on the west coast of Africa, in 1921. His binh place hava long tradition of posducing Muslim scholars and oral historians. This is when his aspiration and interest in history, the humanities, and the social sciences from an African point of view began.
