Thomas Fish: Book 5

The Book 5 of Thomas Fish begins with the Captain’s declaration of the Africans as freemen. Thousands from both sides of the racial divide had gathered at the village square to celebrate. Adaeze leads the cultural dance groups and the Masquerades of Izu Kingdom to entertain the crowd. Lt. George and his men are arrested in a counter-coup by Thomas Fish and other officers of the monarch’s Army. Obinna rejects the offer to assume the political role as Prime Minister of Izu Kingdom. The commander of Izu Warriors conducts a referendum to install Chief Anayo as the democratically-elected leader in the aftermath of their restored sovereignty. Unknown to the Africans and the monarch’s Army, the gods have seen that the second ship is the precursor of the second war of genocide – far bloodier than the first.
