Chelsea Bag Pattern

Chelsea Bag is a very beautiful structured and elegant statement bag. It’s not your regular bag pattern, yet very easy and simple to make. I present Chelsea out of my love for creativity. Chelsea is loved by any woman who comes across her. She can be made on any domestic (vintage) flat-bed sewing machine, post-bed, or cylinder arm using light faux leather, light cork, light vinyl, or any fabrics of choice.

Finished Sizes: H = 6″ x W = 9″ x D = 4.2″

Skill Level: Intermediate

Materials

• Exterior Fabric – 1/2 yard
• Lining Fabric – 1/2 yard
• Sturdy Interfacing such as Decovil Heavy, Peltex, etc – 1/2 yard

 Hardware

• Bag lock – 1
• Eyelet (Outer Diameter 28mm and Inner Diameter 16mm) – 4 pieces
• Chain – 45″ (Big enough to allow a 1/4″ strip to pass through). Optionally, you can make a tiny strap in place of the chain.

 Other Supplies

• Double-sided tape
• Craft glue / Fabric glue
