“Sir,” he said into the secure line, his voice steady but tense, “this isn’t random. Someone is testing global systems… and they’re getting closer.”

Across the world in China, Li Wei, a brilliant cyber strategist, watched lines of code scroll endlessly across his screen. His face was calm, but his mind was racing. He knew exactly what was happening.

“This is no longer defense,” he whispered. “This is positioning.”

In Russia, Ivan Petrov, a former military commander turned covert strategist, stood by a window overlooking a frozen city. He didn’t need screens to understand what was coming.
