“From streets to stardom” is the story of my journey so far through life.
My aim with this book is not just to give hope to those might be struggling and lost, but to serve as reminder of what is possible for human spirit to accomplish.
I started my journey through life with nothing but hate and disappointments that were designed to make my existence here on earth very insignificant and brief.
In this book, I talk about how I rose above child abuse, conquered chronic addiction and surmounted unimaginable disappointments to become the man that I am today.
By the time you are done reading this book, you would have known that anything is possible beyond what anyone has ever made you to believe.
I wrote this book because I’m becoming and I want to take others along with me on that journey.
My desire is to die empty knowing that I lived in full and mattered in the universal scheme of things. It is to make a positive difference in other people’s lives.
To accomplish my goals, I need you to accomplish yours. I want you to get up from the dust of complains and run your race for greatness.
I want to hear your testimonies of how my story gave you a push.
I want to us to meet in faraway lands and break bread together while sharing how far we have travelled on our paths of greatness.
Only then will I know that I have accomplished my objectives for writing this book and lived up to my core in life.
I have found that the best way to get what I want, is to focus my energy on giving it to others. I was able to truly conquer my fears and start living the best of my life in those moments when I decided to help others to come up higher.
There is always someone who needs our help and the best we can do for ourselves is to help them. The fastest way to travel on your journey is to give others a lift.
Don’t wait for your life to become perfect before you do this because it will never happen.
