People get married with high expectations of bliss; they choose their mates and, in hope of living happily ever after, they make it official. But less than half way into many marriages, the narrative changes. One scene after another, what began like a romance story begins to look more like a horror movie being acted within their own homes. Hopes are dashed, outbursts become frequent, and challenges surface from all directions: in-laws, money, infidelity, selfishness, and many more.
Fortunately, there are exceptions to this sad turn in marriage. While some people appear to be unlucky with their choice and marriage, several others are genuinely enjoying heaven-on-earth marriage relationships, and they will choose their spouses again and again!
What accounts for the difference? Why do some people appear lucky with their marriages while others do not? The key is primarily knowledge!
Knowledge! Not just knowledge; but correct knowledge and right application of it. In life, the more you know, the more you will grow, and the better your life will be – all other things being equal.
The bible says in Hosea 4:6, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” It doesn't say because of the devil, but for lack of knowledge. Most marriages today are being destroyed because of lack of knowledge or its application.
Learning how to make your marriage work is, therefore, a major set of skills to acquire; and fortunately, it is not rocket science. It is as simple as the saying ―What you sow is what you reap. As you make your bed, so you lie on it. You‘re holding a book that explains what to sow and how to sow; that helps couples enjoy the bliss they have always wished for in their marriage!
Filled with true life experiences, it is practical, and produces outstanding results, when its principles are put into practice as described. Take your time to read it to the end; the keys you need to make your marriage work are within the pages, waiting to be discovered.
Happy reading!
