MY DAILY MILK DEVOTIONAL SERIES FOR ADULTS, OCTOBER 2025

THEME:

THE FAITH OF CHRIST IN A MAN

By Pastor Goodness Eni

Day 1 – Wednesday, October 1, 2025

TOPIC: THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11

FOCUS OF THOUGHT: Faith in Christ begins with building on the right foundation—Jesus Himself.

DEVOTIONAL EXPLANATION:

Every strong building requires a firm foundation; without it, collapse is inevitable. In the same way, the believer’s faith rests not on human wisdom, possessions, or achievements but on Christ alone. He is the foundation that stands unshaken by storms of life. Placing our trust in Christ is acknowledging that our strength is insufficient, but His power is perfect and eternal.

When the storms of doubt or trials blow, only those who stand on Christ, the unshakable foundation, remain secure. Faith that starts on this foundation grows unmovable, because Christ is both the beginning and the end of our trust.

PRAYER POINT: Lord Jesus, let my life always be built on You as the unshakable foundation of my faith. In Jesus name Amen.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION: I declare that my faith is rooted in Christ alone; I will not be

shaken by the storms of life. In Jesus name Amen.
