I greet you a warm welcome to discipleship. It is expedient that you begin with the book of James because it has a wonderful undertone of discipline—a virtue that you must cultivate as you begin your journey in discipleship. Coming under discipleship is submitting to discipline, for disciples are men under strict disciplines. The disciplines that the book of James teaches are to be upheld religiously; routine disciplines that the saint of God ought to become acquainted with, many of which you will understand as you advance on your journey in discipleship and further study on the subject matter of grace.
